Today’s Spanish word of the day is “amor”.

It’s a masculine noun meaning “love”.

It comes from Latin amor, which had the same meaning. Some English words from the same root include “amorous” and “enamor”.

El amor mueve el mundo.

Love moves the world.

Mi amor por ti no cambia.

My love for you doesn’t change.

Los psicólogos estudian cómo el amor romántico afecta la química cerebral.

Psychologists study how romantic love affects brain chemistry.
